Attention SPHERE Users

In order to use SPHERE you must have a Wisconsin User ID and Password - WAMS(Web Access Management System) - and a PHIN (Public Health Information Network) account. For instructions on how to register for WAMS and PHIN accounts and request SPHERE access click here.

Step 1: Get a WAMS account by clicking here.
Step 2: Get a PHIN account by clicking here. At the end of the second step in the PHIN Registration, click on the Submit button to complete your PHIN registration, and
Step 3: Request access to SPHERE. The system will notify state administrators that your pre-requisites are completed and you are requesting rights to SPHERE.

After you are notified that you have been granted rights and assigned roles, you will use your Wisconsin User ID (username) & Password to log into SPHERE.

Please Note: To meet security standards, PHIN applications do not allow your web browser to store your password. If you have forgotten your password, use the WAMS Account Recovery by clicking on this link to it. Currently SPHERE only supports Internet Explorer (IE); it does not support other web browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, etc.

If you encounter problems, please call or email the Department of Health Services (DHS) IT Service Desk to report the problem and provide notification to SPHERE support staff. The Service Desk will not resolve any problems at the time of the initial call. All reported problems are tracked through resolution with a problem ticket number.

Calls to the Service Desk are answered during normal business hours (7am to 5pm, M-F, excluding State holidays and automatically transferred to another service desk during non-business hours.
