Wisconsin User ID (WAMS) Account Recovery

A user must complete an account recovery if a password is forgotten
or has expired.

  1. If you have forgotten your user ID or password, or are otherwise unable to login, click the link (shown below) on the left side of PHIN Registration Application home page.



  2. A new window will appear (shown below).
    Enter either the User ID OR E-mail address associated with your account. Click Submit.



  3. An email will be sent to your account's address and will contain a link that you must click on to proceed.

  4. Next, you will need to provide the exact answer (case sensitive) to your secret question.

  5. Provide a new password for your account — this will be your new PHIN password.

  6. Follow on-screen directions to complete the remainder of the account recovery.
